Love Consciousness
Episode 11: Love Consciousness
This type of love can only come when we love ourselves unconditionally, releasing all self-judgment, guilt, blame, shame, and attachment.
Reaching the level of Love Consciousness takes courage. Courage empowers you to confront your fears and persevere on the path of growth. It also requires being nonjudgmental, unattached to outcomes, and not feeling defeated or frustrated when you don't get your way. This is a transcendence of the ego.
To fully experience this level of love consciousness, you must be in a state of pure Consciousness. Once you have experienced Love Consciousness, you will never forget the moment.
The most essential elements of Love Consciousness:
- Love
- Kindness
- Compassion
- Self-acceptance
- Inner peace
- Gentleness
- Tenderness
- Patience
- Sensitivity
Few people experience pure states of Love Consciousness. Too much of the past interferes with the experience. Those interferences include fear, anger, judgment, and resentment.
These questions help you discover if issues are keeping you from reaching the level of Love Consciousness.
1. Do you have commitment issues?
2. Are you judgmental of yourself and (or) others?
3. Are you a codependent? Are you preoccupied with caring for and giving to someone else that you neglect yourself?
4. Are you a martyr? Do you suffer on purpose in the name of helping or serving someone else, at the expense of your own personal needs and desires?
5. Do you slump your shoulders when you walk?
6. Do you have relationship issues?
7. Do you withdraw from intimate relationships?
8. Do you constantly put down others and or yourself?
9. Are you clingy or jealous?
10. Have you been told that you have low self-esteem?
11. Do you struggle to let go because you're too attached?
12. Do you consider yourself a hoarder? Too much clutter.
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, don’t beat yourself up. You can handle this, and it will take work. Work with the heart chakra. It has the power to heal, and when it heals, you begin to feel unselfish, unconditional love. You start to realize that your mind and body deserve love; your life deserves love. Use the practices to help remove the barriers.
